'Hello Akashwani' on education
Bhopal, Mar 01: Senior administrative officers would be face-to-face with people at 'Hello Akashwani' programme which would highlight programmes undertaken for improvement in school education and monitoring of various educational activities. They would reply to the questions posed by the listeners and would also discuss various projects.
This programme is being introduced on an experimental basis and would be aired on first and second Monday of the month that is March 3 and 10 from 12 noon to 1 pm from all the centres of Akashwani situated in Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, earlier scheduled programme 'English is Fun' would not broadcast. During the phone-in programme 'Hello Akashwani', Principal Secretary, Commissioner of Rajya Shiksha Kendra and Commissioner Public Instructions would remain present in the studio to give reply to questions and discuss with the listeners about programmes being implemented by Rajya Shiksha Kendra and School Education Department.
Through this programme, people of all the regions would be able to have a direct dialogue with these senior officers of School Education Department with a view to apprising themselves of school education and literacy activities of their respective areas and making suggestions for improvement. During the live programme, listeners from all over India can make a call on Akashwani Bhopal's phone numbers (0755) 2660902 and 2660903 to pose their questions and make their suggestions. During this time slot, all the District Education Officers, District Education Centre's Coordinators, other officers and teachers of all the schools would listen to the radio programme at the places of their work. This would facilitate them to hold discussions on literacy projects apart from coming to know of the caller's problems, conduct of schools, construction of school buildings, educational activities at the schools, presence of students and teachers at the schools, activities of parents-teachers associations, free text-books, school uniform and cycles to schoolgirls. The Rajya Shiksha Kendra would ensure recording of this programme which would be maintained for necessary action on questions and suggestions and solution to problems.
