Bhopal, Apr 03: Alleging Minister of Housing and Environment Jayant Malaiya and Indore Development Authority (IDA) officials for wrongfully leasing a land worth crores in Indore to a builder, former State Congress Committee general secretary KK Mishra has reportedly lodged a complaint against the BJP Minister and others with the Lokayukta.

He has also alleged Dhal Singh Bisen, Rajendra Shukla, late Dilip Bhatere, Indore Development Authority (IDA) Chairman Madhu Verma and the then CEO IDA Ramkinker Gupta in his complaint. KK Mishra said that the state government leased out 3.51 acre land in Indore to M/s Shriram Builders on BOT basis with an intention to benefit Omprakash Agrawal and Ramratan Agrawal. He alleged that the IDA allotted 10 acre land to the MP State Road Transport Corporation (MPSRTC) in 1981 at meager rate of Rs 4 per sq ft for developing bus terminal keeping in view the convenience of people. However, out of 10-acre land, 3.51 acre land worth Rs 100 crore was leased to M/s Shriram Builders without obtaining consent of board of directors and requisite no objection certificate (NOC) for commercial use just to benefit the private builders, he added.
