Media gallery in Van Vihar premises
Bhopal, Dec 04: Briefing arrangements have been made at Van Vihar National Park for all types of media. According to information given by Principal Chief Forest Conservator (Wildlife) PB Gangopadhyaya, this arrangement has been made with a view to establishing constant contact with media, both electronic and print. This briefing would be made regularly everyday except special occasions and holidays (Friday and Sunday) at Vihar Vithika which is situated near Gate Number 2 of Van Vihar. The brief would be given at 4 pm.
The briefing meant for media would be given by Director/ Deputy Director. The members of media including correspondents, journalists and reporters coming for the brief would be given entry from Van Vihar's Gate Number 2 Chiku (Bhabhada area). Principal Chief Forest Conservator (Wildlife) PB Gangopadhyaya has urged managers of all the media and presses to send their reporters, correspondents and journalists for brief at the fixed time and venue. Principal Chief Forest Conservator (Wildlife) PB Gangopadhyaya, said it has been generally observed that news about Van Vihar and activities going on there are carried by the media from time to time. But sometimes, news are not backed by actual facts. So far it has been the practice to issue press note only when some extraordinary event takes place in Van Vihar since there is no justification in issuing press notes about the daily and routine activities in the National Park.
