Novel method of propagating schemes

Bhopal, Mat 05: Madhya Pradesh government has decided to come up with a novel method of propagating its schemes and programmes throughout the state. In the election year, BJP government’s ‘Vikas Rath’ has Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan propagating at cause. These cine stars are being screened through blockbusters Chak De India, Muna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and Tare Zamin Par in different parts of the state.

Sources said that Madhya Pradesh Madhyam has recently received DVD rights of these movies so that the rural people might also watch these movies. During short intervals of these movies, government schemes are being advertised to rural masses. Since, only six months are left for assembly elections the ruling BJP is making all out efforts to reach out to the masses and ensuring that people are benefited with different schemes like Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, Deendayal Antyoday Upchar Yojana and others.

The government had been advertising its schemes in the districts with the available network, but it was found that people were not getting benefited with them. Following this, this innovative method was introduced to reach out to the masses. However, official sources claimed this is not a new idea to get movie rights. Decades ago, the public relation department of Madhya Pradesh used to get movie rights and used to screen them in districts at nominal charges.

“This is merely an effort to restart the old convention. Moreover, the rural people also have right to watch these blockbusters,” they added. Madhya Pradesh Congress Spokesman Brijmohan Shrivastava reacting on this novel step, said that the BJP wanted to sail on the popularity of these movies, which indicated that the party has lost credibility among the people. “The BJP also seem to have lost that confidence which they expressed after winning Betul by-election,” he added.
