Mobile tableaux to be special attraction

Bhopal, Jan 08: Mobile tableaux would be special attraction of state level function on the occasion of Republic Day. A high-level core committee of specialists has been constituted to select the colourful mobile tableaux of different departments which would take part in the state-level Republic Day function. The committee comprises art speciaists including Adivasi Lok Kala Akademi director Kapil Tiwari, Bharat Bhawan's assistant director Harcharan Singh Bhatti and manager of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam Hemant Vayengkar.

The tableaux would be prepared at Lal Parade Ground by various departments under the direction of this core committee. If advice is not sought from time to time from the expert team or its direction are not carried out in preparing tableau by the a department or the tableau lack finesse, that department's tableau would not be allowed to take part in the Republic Day function. Members of the committee would keep visiting the preparation site and give their direction for preparing the tableaux.

The government also decided to illuminate all the government buildings on the national festival of Republic Day. In this regard, the state government has issued directives to all the heads of the departments, divisional Commissioners, district collectors and district panchayat chief executive officers (CEOs). It was also mentioned that the related administrative departments would bear the expenses on this arrangement. The officials have been asked to especially invite freedom fighters and family members of Kargil martyrs.
