BJP to support Bundelkhand: CM

Bhopal, Mar 09: Addressing the ‘Jan Ashirwad Rally’ Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured that Bharatiya Janata Party would always be there for help in the tough times of the people of Bundelkhand. The rally was organized in Chhatarpur, on March 9. As many as 40,000 people were present in the stadium ground, where the rally was organized.

BJP State President Narendra Singh Tomar who was also present in the rally said that work done in the state in last four years is more than the work done in last six decades. He further claimed, “Congress is responsible for the backwardness of Bundelkhand region.  Being in the power in state as well as in the center, Congress could have done better, which has now resulted as drought in this region”.

While greeting the people Tomat further said that BJP has lived up to the expectations by establishing the Bundelkand Development Authority. Tomar said that Medical College has also been established in Sagar and a budget of 150 crore has been sanctioned. Besides, CM assured the people of Bundelkhand that each step would be taken in the interest of the area and any kind of dishonesty will not be tolerated. Meanwhile, media persons were dissatisfied with the BJP workers because of mismanagement in allotting the place for them.
