Bhopal, May 10: The 18-year old Van Vihar white tigress ‘Rini’ has been successfully operated for removing the mole just below its right eye on Saturday. According to Van Vihar authorities, the condition of the tigress is stable after the operation.
Dr Atul Gupta, veterinary expert at the Van Vihar National Park has successfully operated the ailing tigress with the help of Dr Kadal Jadhav, veterinary expert from SOS Wild Life institute, during the 4 hour long operation on Saturday morning. He added that the condition of the white tigress is stable after the operation and it is responding properly after the treatment. Khare accepted that the tigress’s problem was also diagnosed by the Visiting US experts last week, who also suggested the surgical operation as the only option in this case.
