Dream of independence not incomplete
Gwalior, May 11: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the dream of independence is incomplete until the farmers smile, every hand does not get the work and every poor does not get the right to live with self-respect.
He was speaking in a function to lay the foundation stone of the educational complex, in Gwalior on Sunday. While addressing the gathering he said that at present, prosperity could be achieved by developing industries along side agriculture. In this connection, pleasant results have been achieved at Khajuraho and Jabalpur through, which big investors have been attracted towards the state. Among various constructional works includes the construction of power sub station worth Rs 12 crore and water supply scheme of Rs 8 crores. The CM also gifted the people with the construction of cement concrete road built worth Rs 4 crores and 23 water schemes worth Rs 3 crores.
The function was presided over the BJP state president Narendra Singh Tomar. On the occasion, Ministers Anup Mishra, Narrotam Mishra, MP Maya Singh, MLA Vijendra Tiwari, and Dhaynendra Singh, district BJP president Abhay Choudhary and others were present. Later, Anup Mishra said the state government had prepared a blue print of development, in which Gwalior has been selected for development as an education hub. At the out set, the SADA chairman Jai Singh Kushwah greeted the guests. The local MLA Vijendra Tiwari demanded protection of farmer’s interests of the area for which, the chief minister assured him.
