Pakistani spy arrested from Bhopal

Bhopal, Jan 20: A Pakistani spy and his two associates have been arrested in Madhaya Pradesh. The arrested ones were passing on secret army information to the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Shockingly, an army personnel was leaking the secret reports related with the security of the country to these spies. Police and intelligence agencies are now looking for that military man who being in Indian Army helped the ones conspiring against the country.

Special Task Force Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sanjeev Kumar Singh while talking to media persons informed that on the basis of the information received by the intelligence agencies a man Imran Qureshi was arrested from the Mangalwara police station area of the state capital. Singh further informed that during interrogation he accepted of being a Pakistani agent and was collecting secret information of the country- particularly of the Indian Army, he also revealed names of his two counterparts Iqbal and Akhtar who from Sagar district were providing him local support. Later with the help of Sagar police the duo was also arrested and brought to Bhopal for further investigations, he added.

Police further informed that Iqbal and Akhtar helped in getting a rental accommodation to Imran at Kali Dhoban Ki Gali of the Mangalwara police station area, where he along with his family- wife and two kids was residing from past some months. Imran with the help of his associates was colleting the information related with the security of the country and through email and mobile phones was passing it further to the Pakistani agencies.

Imran is a Pakistani national and since 1996 was linked with ISI. In 2003-04 he first came to India and resided in Calcutta, later he went to Dhaka. In Dhaka he reportedly got married and again with his wife came back to India. After coming back he stayed in Bangalore, Hyderabad and later with the help of his arrested counterparts managed a safe shelter in Bhopal and started his activities from the city. With the help local people he also got made his ration card, PAN card and other identity related documents. After getting the documents he had also applied for making an Indian passport. For carrying out the spying activities in the state, thorough Western Union Money Transfer he use to get the money from Pakistan and other countries.

Similarly for passing the collected information Imran use to compose the collected details in his email id and paste it in the draft, on the other side his Pakistani bosses who were also having the password of Imran’s email just by accessing his email easily use to pick up the information. Understanding the gravity of the matter cops denied divulging any details or the probable motives and targets of these agents but since the Republic day is just a week away conspiring of any untoward incident by these agents could not be ruled out. Though police did not ruled out possibilities of more such agents active in the MP but at the same time also assured of running a round the clock interstate intelligence operations for nabbing more such secret agents of the neighboring countries.
