STF takes over Ashwani abduction case
Gwalior, Jan 21: As there is no clue to president of Nicholas Piramil Company Ashwani Bhatt, who was abducted between Gwalior and Indore three days ago, the Special Task Force (STF), meant for dealing with orgnaised crimes has commenced investigation in the case. The STF team has reached Indore and met the family members of the victim. Earlier too, the STF team had successfully solved a case of kidnapping of Cadbury’s manager Keith Mendis.
He was abducted while going to Malanpur (Bhind) from Gwalior. The interstate gangster Dharamveer Khatik was also killed in Jhansi district on the tip of STF. The problem of kidnapping of Sumedha Durlabhji belonging to an industrialist family of Jaipur and kidnapping of an industrialist Beheti were also solved by STF. On Monday, the Kashmiri community people led by its president ON Kaul and secretary SL Sapru submitted a memorandum to the district administration demanding immediate action in the abduction case. The Kashmiri Samaj has also decided to contact the president of other Brahmin communities for cooperation.
Till date, the police are clueless about Ashwani Bhatt. Since the case is related to important person, senior officials are keeping a watch on the police action. Surprisingly, the kidnapping has been done at a time when the chief Minister was interacting with the foreign and domestic industrialists to establish industries in Madhya Pradesh. Bhatt was one of the participants in MP Exportech 2008 Gwalior. While returning to Indore Bhatt was kidnapped. The police of three districts and two states are searching Bhatt. The disappearance of Bhatt is registered in Indore police station, but it it’s expected that the case dairy could be transferred to Gwalior police because the alleged kidnapping of Bhatt was done under Gwalior district.
