Complaint against Khandwa CEO registered

Bhopal, Jan 24: Economic Offences Wing (EOW) registered a complaint against Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Khandwa District Panchayat for allegedly benefiting contractors in works related with construction of wells and preparation of licenses for explosives. The Bureau has launched an inquiry after registering the complaint against the IAS officer.

Besides, the Bureau has registered complaints against former president and assistant manager of a cooperative committee in Misrod, president of a housing society, district TB officer and engineers. A complaint has been registered against IAS officer who is CEO in Khandwa Dr Sanjay Goel for benefiting contractors employed for constructing wells in District Panchayat areas. He was also alleged for adopting irregularities in preparation of license for explosives. The alleged irregularities caused damage worth crores to the state's exchequer. The Bureau commenced an inquiry after registering the complaint.

Meanwhile, a complaint was also registered against Ramesh Gaur and Shyamsunder Gaur who are respectively former president and assistant manager of Sewa Sahkari Cooperative Committee Misrod. The accused reportedly amassed wealth disproportionate to income by misappropriating farmers' share and operating accounts of dead persons. Similarly, a complaint was also registered against MK Singh, president of Rohit Griha Nirman Society. Apart from this, the Bureau registered complaints against Dr BL Mishra, District TB Officer Rewa and ML Agrawal, engineer. While, Dr Mishra was charged of misusing the post, Agrawal and his accomplices were blamed for causing financial loss by presenting wrong measurement booklet for constructing Gulab Sagar Dam.
