Bhopal: The Higher Education Department has decided to appoint ‘Ambassador Professors’ in every district of the state with a view to bringing about qualitative improvement in the academic activities of colleges during the Quality Year 2011-12. Higher Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma informed that through Ambassador Professors, presence of part-time professors will be ensured in colleges grappling with shortage of teachers in the colleges in the rural areas and small towns.
