Rates fixed for services to people

Bhopal: The State Government has fixed the rates for the services to be delivered to citizens under the e-district project. Initially, benefits of about 40 services would be made available to people of five districts selected as pilot project i.e. Indore, Sagar, Guna, Gwalior and Shivpuri. Work on providing khasra copy and domicile certificate has already begun. As per the newly fixed rate list, people will have to spend Rs 20 each to obtain certificates of caste, income, birth, death and disability. Of this, Rs 10 would go for operator of Common Service Centre and remaining Rs 10 to e-governance society as administrative expenditure.
Similarly, for the various social security schemes like old age pension, disability pension, Janshri Insurance Scheme, Relief Assistance, urban development agency, freedom fighter honourarium, scholarship scheme for SC, ST students, one will have to pay Rs 20 and for Widow Pension Scheme Rs 10. Citizens would have to pay same amount of Rs 20 for revenue court cases, government dues and recovery, diversion of land, recovery of taxes, lease payable on nazul land, renewal of lease etc. Same amount would be chargeable for obtaining new ration card, copy of ration card, alteration in names of card holders. For the people seeking information against complaints about various departmental schemes, registration of complaints, supervision, appeal disposed of under the Right to Information Act, one will pay Rs 20. While payment from Rs 20 to Rs 200 would be made for different works pertaining to weapon license.
So far as agriculture is concerned, a citizen will have to spend Rs 100 in matters relating to fertilisers, pesticides, seeds, issuance and renewal of licence, addition or removal of name. while Rs 20 would be payable for issuance or removal of licence for an agency, stamp vendor licence, cinema, video-parlour licence. Similarly, Rs 100 will be payable for taking permission for organising fair, use of loudspeaker and opening of liquor shop. Rs 20 will be payable for receiving B1/khasra copy of land record and applying for marriage registration.
