Bhopal: Law, Legal Affairs and Jail Minister Antar Singh Arya has urged the Union government not to open new village courts in Madhya Pradesh and instead of establishing the parallel legal system financial assistance should be given for improvement of the existing 1600 village courts' condition. He also urged the Centre to give a package to the tune of Rs 500 core for reconstruction of dilapidated buildings of district and civil courts in the state. Arya was addressing the meeting of states Law Ministers and Law Secretaries at New Delhi on Friday.
