Bhopal: Vijay Agrawal, who has penned many popular books on life management, believes that human beings are accustomed to viewing life through the restrictive lenses of either success or failure while very few are alert and aware about an understanding towards what is called life. “In life, only those who comprehend it taste success in the true sense of the term,” Agrawal who voluntarily retired today as the Press Information Bureau's Additional Director-General (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan) told.

Bhopal: The State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan accorded its approval to the New Drug Policy – 2009. The New Drug Policy incorporates the detailed procedure for purchase of medicines, its storage, quality control, tender and payment mode. Till the new policy comes into force, competent officers have been authorized to make the purchase under the existing norms.

Bhopal: The cabinet at its meeting chaired by the Chief Minster Shivraj Singh here today took several important decisions including setting up of a 1000-bed hospital at Gwalior, upgrading of the cardiac science centre at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and establishment of a gastroentology department there. The cabinet accorded sanction for construction of a 1000-bed hospital at Gwalior. The work would be completed in for phases. The A block would be taken up in the first phase and the B block in the second phase on which an expenditure of RS. 15.64 is estimated.

Bhopal: The prestigious sports awards Vikram and Vishwamitra were conferred on 30 sports persons and coaches here at a grand function held on the occasion of Khel Diwas at Ravindra Bhawan. Those present on the occasion included MP Kailash Joshi, President of Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association Ramesh Mandola, and JL Yadav international yachting player from the state who will be honoured with this year's Arjun Award.
