Irrigation Project in Raisen

Bhopal, Jan 01: The state government has given Rs 90.35 lakh administrative sanction to Naine Vilas Barrage Irrigation Project in Raisen district. Along with the sanction, the state government has also given its sanction for fund release. After being completed, this irrigation project would provide irrigation facility in 173 hectare area.

Bhopal, Jan 01: Iqbal Quiz contest was organised at Mulla Ramoozi Sanskriti Bhawan by Allama Iqbal Sahitya Prabhag of Sahitya Akademi on December 31. The function was inaugurated by Minorities Commission chairman Anwar Mohammad Khan. Betul tops 'Ladli Laxmi Yojana' by achieving success

Bhopal, Jan 01: Betul district has stood first in the implementation of the state government's ambitious  'Ladli Laxmi Yojana' by achieving 310 success against the stipulated target. Besides, four districts have achieved 100 percent success, while the success rate of 11 districts remained between 80 and 90 percent. Till the month of December of the current financial year 2007-08, 65 percent target has been achieved under this scheme at the state level. The target till December, 2007 was to extend benefit of the scheme to 20 thousand 200 girls in the state against which 13 thousand 139 girls were benefited.

Boy gets admission with Samadhan online

Bhopal, Jan 01: The Samadhan online programme was held at Mantralaya in the presence Chief Secretary, RC Sahni today. An applicant Atul Kumar son of Jagdish Purvaia complained that he had been selected for the post of constable driver in the police force but had not received the appointment order even after clearing the fitness test. After reviewing the case the Chief Secretary directed to give appointment order to him immediately.

 

Development of roads on rapid pace in MP

Bhopal, Jan 01: Development of roads is going on at a very rapid pace in Madhya Pradesh. Ninety-five to 100 percent of patchwork of potholes has been completed. These potholes had developed in 17 national highways during the rainy season. The Chief Engineer reviewed the progress of the patch repair work on a daily basis and ensured to remove potholes on 1568.40 km long roads within a short span of two months.
