Ashok Nagar, May 03: The water level shot up by three to eight feet today in more than a 100 stepwells at this district's tourist spot Chanderi where people flocked to the step-wells on hearing of the phenomenon. Confirming the development, Chanderi's Sub-Divisional Officer Vincent Lakda said that the District Collector was alerted.
