Seven Congress spokespersons announced
Bhopal, Apr 04: The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Friday declared
team of seven spokespersons and almost all the factions were
adjusted to overcome increasing resentment within the party.
Former General Secretary Manak Agrawal has been appointed main
spokesmen, while other spokesmen are Brijmohan Shrivastava,
Chaudhary Rakesh Singh, Arvind Malviya, KK Mishra, JP Dhanopiya
and Mukesh Nayak.
BHEL launches recruitment drive
Bhopal, Apr 04: A major recruitment drive started by Bharat
Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has resulted in the induction
of about 4,000 people in the past one year including about 1,000
people being appointed in its Bhopal unit. BHEL (Bhopal)
Executive Director RK Singh while talking to media persons here
on Friday said that the fresh recruitment drive was initiated
after the implementation of Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) in
BHEL created shortage of employees in the past few years.
Gram Sabhas in villages from April 14
Bhopal, Apr 04: Gram Sabhas would be held in every village of
Madhya Pradesh from April 14. Apart from local issues, the
weeklong Gram Sabhas would also discuss Mukhya Mantri Annapurna
Yojana, information about Panchayat Raj institutions having been
given the statutory, Scheduled Tribes and Traditional Forest
Dwellers (Recognition of Rights) Act 2006, Employment Guarantee
Scheme, and other issues.
Direct flight for Haj pilgrims from Indore
Bhopal, Apr 04: At the initiative
of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, now direct flight
would be available from Indore to the Haj pilgrims for Haj-2008.
Formal sanction to make Indore an embarkation point for Madhya
Pradesh was given at the All India Annual Conference held at New
Delhi the other day. This would save the pilgrims various
difficulties and financial burden that entails on their
relatives. They would no longer be required to undertake the
journey in two parts, which would save them Rs 5,000.
Rs 600 crore for Vaidyanathan Committee
Bhopal, Apr 04: Madhya Pradesh has received Rs 600 crore, a
handsome amount under the package of Vaidyanathan Committee set
up for revival of cooperative credit societies. This amount is
provided to the state is maximum in the country. This is because
recommendations of Vaidyanathan Committee are being implemented
most effectively in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh was the first
state in the country to accept Vaidyanathan Committee
recommendations.
