HIV positive people developing network
Bhopal, Apr 06: Registered with a noble cause in 1997 at Chennai,
the Indian Network for People Living with AIDS/HIV (INP+) is now
strengthening its network in the state to ensure hassle free
life to affected people. Hundreds of people living with HIV/AIDS
have come together on a common platform under the banner of INP+
braving adversities of life.
NVDA for land in command area
Bhopal, Apr 06: Initiating the much delayed works of canal
complexes of major dam irrigation projects by floating tenders
involving works amounting more than Rs 2500 crores, the NVDA is
now zeroing into the availability of land which falls under the
construction of canals in the command areas of various projects.
PS for turning the Schools of Excellence
Bhopal, Apr 06: The Principal Secretary School Education
Department MM Upadhyay has formulated ways for turning the
Schools of Excellence into the real centre of excellence during
the meeting with Principals and Education officials in the
capital on Sunday. School Principals have forwarded the problem
of shortage of teachers and have demanded revision in entrance
test conducted by MP Professional Examination Board.
MP tops again in NREGS implementation
Bhopal, Apr 06: Madhya Pradesh is at the topmost position in the
implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
The state tops in all respects including receipt of funds under
the scheme from the Union government, its expenditure, creation
of mandays of employment and completion of works.
Rs 112 crore for hospital buildings
Bhopal, Apr 06: State Government has made budgetary allocation
to the tune of Rs 112 crore for the current financial year for
construction of hospital buildings and development of
infrastructure there. During the financial year 2007-08, this
amount was only Rs 92 crore. This information was given by the
Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare, Ajay Vishnoi.
