Buses for Khajuraho

Bhopal, Jan 07: The State Tourism Development Corporation has gifted its people with modern and air- conditioned bus service to Khajuraho in the New Year.  The Corporation has decided to start a bus service from Indore and Bhopal to Khajuraho from January 10.

Shafiqa Farhat demise

Bhopal, Jan 07: Governor Balram Jakhar and Public Relations Minister Laxmikant Sharma have condoled the death of famous Urdu litterateur Shafiqa Farhat. Jakhar has said that Farhat was amicable, simple, soft-spoken and cultured personality. She was also a social worker and was sensitive towards sufferings of the poor and downtrodden.

Land for AIIMS to be handed over to Centre

Bhopal, Jan 07: The state cabinet which met here on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took important decisions for extension of education and health sectors. The cabinet has decided to give permission to Bhopal collector for transferring to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, New Delhi, the 154-acre land in village Pipaliya Pende Khan which was earmarked for establishment of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
