Land for AIIMS to be handed over to Centre
Bhopal, Jan 07: The state cabinet which met here on Monday under
the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took
important decisions for extension of education and health
sectors. The cabinet has decided to give permission to Bhopal
collector for transferring to the Union Health and Family
Welfare Ministry, New Delhi, the 154-acre land in village
Pipaliya Pende Khan which was earmarked for establishment of All
India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Open invitation for development of Valley
Bhopal, Jan 07: An open invitation for competent construction
agencies from all over the Country was given by Additional Chief
Secretary and Vice Chairman NVDA Pradeep Bhargava here to play
role in the Development of Narmada Valley (NVDA). He was
addressing a summit of construction agencies from various states
organised jointly by Construction Industry Development Council,
New Delhi and NVDA here at Narmada Bhawan.
Ministers felicitated at Panchayat convention
Bhopal, Jan 07: At a state level
convention of panchayat officers and employees here today, the
Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Rustam Singh; Finance
Minister Raghavji and former Panchayat and Rural Development
Minister and President of the state unit of the BJP Narendra
Tomar were felicitated by its federation for setting up of a
separate Panchayat Directorate in the state.
BJP’s Halla Bol rally in Katni a success
Jabalpur, Jan 07: Bharatiya Janata Party's Halla Bol rally
started under the leadership of Member of Parliament Rakesh
Singh in Katni on Sunday. The on-foot rally aims to draw
attention towards different demands from the Union Railway
ministry of development of Mahakaushal region. Amidst huge
gathering of BJP workers and supporters, Singh said that proper
railway links are mandatory for development of any region.
Chintan Baithak at Sanchi from Tuesday
Bhopal, Jan 07: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would
find out the reasons of defeat in the recently held by-elections
and chalk out a strategy for the upcoming assembly elections in
the two-day Chintan Baithak scheduled at Sanchi from Tuesday.
The prominent leaders who are going to participate in the
meeting are- senior leader Sunderlal Patwa, Kailash Joshi,
Vikram Verma, Sumitra Mahajan, Laxminarayan Pande, Krishna
Murari Moghe, Kailash Sarang, Satyanarayan Jatia, Thavarchand
Gehlot, Sheetla Sahay, Maya Singh, Babulal Jain and Ramhit
Gupta.
