Tension in Ratlam

Bhopal, Mar 09: Tension gripped Ratlam on Sunday when members of two groups confronted each other. Police exercised mild force to disperse the crowd demonstrating outside the Station Road Police Station. An additional force was also deployed to prevent situation from getting deteriorating.

 

Murder accused escapes

Bhopal, Mar 09: A murder-accused has escaped from Hoshangabad district's Pipariya Sub-Jail while yoga training was being imparted to inmates in the prison premises. The accused Prem Singh reportedly took a bamboo and props and used them to get over the wall.

Nursing homes under scanner in Rewa

Bhopal, Mar 09: Like Ratlam, role of a few nursing homes has come under scanner in Rewa after a bag containing foetuses and their parts were found about a couple of days ago. While, the cops have issued notices to some nursing homes to furnish related details, detection of more than a dozen foetuses has once again pointed towards possible female foeticide prevalent in the area.

 

Common Law Entrance Test on May 11

Bhopal, Mar 09: The seven leading law universities including the National Law University, Bhopal are organizing Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) this year on May 11. The process has been undertaken according to the UGC and Union HRD Ministry guidelines. NLIU Bhopal has reserved 50 percent seats for the state candidates. National Law Universities of Bhopal, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Raipur, Gandhinagar and Bangalore would take part in the test.

 

Action plan-2011 to cover gram panchayats

Bhopal, Mar 09: The state government has chalked out an action plan-2011 to cover all gram panchayats under Nirmal Scheme by year 2011. Under the Total Sanitation Campaign the scheme would cover ten percent gram panchayats during financial year 2007-08 in the first phase. Thirty percent gram panchayats would be covered during 2008-09, 35 percent during 2009-10 and 25 during year 2010-11. Thus, the entire state would be made Nirmal (clean) by year 2011.
