Free trade between India and Israel soon
Bhopal, Apr 09: “Israel has trade of $ 3.30 billion with India
and would double in next few years. Soon free trade between
India and Israel is also likely,” said Lior Weintraub, Spokesman
of Embassy of Israel in India. While talking to media persons
here on Wednesday, Lior called upon the International community
to send out a strong message to Iran, stating that Iran is the
biggest destabilizing force in our region.
Action plan for
quality education
Bhopal, Apr 09: A 60-day action
plan has been chalked out with a view to ensuing educational
quality in the educational institutions being run by Tribal
Welfare Department. For this purpose a calendar has been
prepared for assessment of all the activities of the schools
during summer vacations.
TB cure rate reaches 85 pc in MP
Bhopal, Apr 09: The cure rate of TB
patients in Madhya Pradesh has gone up to 85 percent. Before
implementation of National Revised TB Control Programme, the
cure rate of TB was only 30 percent. The state has also
succeeded in achieving the target set by the Union government.
Similarly, the rate of identifying TB patients has gone up to
127 per lakh per year while the sputum conversion rate has risen
to 88 percent.
1.84 lakh MT procured on support price
Bhopal, Apr 09: A total of 1.84 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has
been procured on support price in various divisions of the state
by the Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation. The
wheat procured on support price is nearly three times more than
the wheat purchased on support price during the entire season
last year. It may be noted that a total of 47,000 metric tonnes
of wheat had been procured on support price during the entire
Rabi season last year.
UPA responsible for price rise: Naidu

Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday held the UPA government responsible
for steep rise in prices of all commodities due to its wrong
policies and said Congress President Sonia Gandhi should break
her silence on the issue. Talking to newsmen here, Naidu said
sufferings of the common man had increased manifold due to price
rise, but the government was not moved by it.
