Subramanium on Ram Setu

Jabalpur, Apr 10: Senior Janata Party leader and former Union Minister Subramanium Swamy said the Centre is bent upon demolishing the 'Ram Setu'. Swamy told media persons here that sentiments of thousands of Hindus in the country were connected with the Ram Setu. The Supreme Court would hear the matter on April 15.

 

Aged couple dies

Chhatarpur, Apr 10: Funeral of an aged couple was performed simultaneously as both died of heart attack in a gap of about one hour. Senior advocate Rajendra Singh Bundela (70) was undergoing treatment at a local hospital for about 25 days following brain haemorrhage and he breathed his last after a massive heart attack this morning.

Narsinghpur, Apr 10: Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) President Uma Bharti today made it clear that she would not return to the BJP.  Ms Bharti gave the statement while replying to questions by reporters at Dangidhana village in Narsinghpur district. Despite having better chances, the BJP left nothing to chance in view of defeat in recent by-election, and victory in Rajya Sabha election held last month.

Bina Refinery pipeline almost complete

Bhopal, Apr 10: The work of laying 935 km pipeline from Wadinagar in Gujarat to Agasod in Bina Tehsil of Sagar district has almost been completed. The pipeline is being laid to pump crude oil from Gujarat to Bina Refinery under-construction at Agasad, 15 km from Bina. This information was given by Minister for Industry, Jayant Malaiya while reviewing progress of Bina Refinery's construction.
