Bhopal, Apr 11: After victimizing employees at Collector’s office, the troublesome monkey is back terrorizing resident of BDA Colony in Koh-e-Fiza. Fearing attack by the animal, residents on Friday lodged complaint with civic authorities and Forest Department but to no avail.

Bhopal, Apr 11: The SBIEO booked a Jabalpur-based builder and his accomplices for allegedly duping 83 persons on pretext of providing them houses at lower rate of interest. The accused allegedly procured a loan worth Rs 2.67 crore from the Bank by submitting documents of the victims and then transferred Rs 2.63 crore to his account.

Bhopal, Apr 11: As many as 36 MoUs worth Rs 29,549 crore were inked during the one-day Bundelkhand Investors Meet held at Sagar on Friday. Twenty-two MoUs worth Rs 15,292 crore were signed at the concluding session.

 

Industrial units soon in Bundelkhand

Bhopal, Apr 11: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a series of industrial units would be set up for developing backward Bundelkhand area which would also give employment to maximum number of jobless people. He was addressing the stone-laying ceremony of the programme to beautify Lakha Banjara Lake at a cost of Rs 21 crore on Friday in Sagar.

 

Elaborate security arrangements for polling

Bhopal, Apr 11: Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place in view of the Lok Sabha by-election in Betul constituency in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. While borders of two districts under which the seat falls Betul and Harda have been sealed since Thursday, 10 companies of armed police forces had been deployed, Additional Police Superintendent Dharmendra Singh Bhadoria said.

 

Plan for conservation of Bison

Bhopal, Apr 11: Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has chalked out a unique plan for long-term conservation of Bison species. Under this plan, bisons would be sent from Kanha Tiger Reserve to Bandhavgarh National Park. The number of this species is fast coming down and therefore, it has become imperative to release bisons in the areas where they can multiply through natural breeding in vast environs.
