Police station attacked

Indore, Mar 15: Five police personnel were injured when a mob pelted stones on Warla police station of Barwani district demanding compensation to five labourers, who suffered injuries due to electrocution. A cotton-laden truck on which five labourers were sitting came in contact with electric wires when it was en route from Chikhali village.

No-confidence unfortunate

Bhopal, mar 15: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday said the Opposition moving a notice to bring a no confidence motion against Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani was 'unfortunate'.

Star decoration to forest employees

Bhopal, Mar 15: Forest Department officials were honoured at Star Decoration function. The officials were decorated by Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah and Minister of State for Forest Narain Singh Kushwah. On this occasion the Forest Minister informed that Rs 26 crore has been sanctioned for construction of Van Bhawan at the state level.

Research needed in construction field

Bhopal, Mar 15: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that research should be undertaken constantly in the sphere of construction and new techniques should be used liberally. He was addressing the inaugural session of Indian Building Congress' national seminar at Indore. Public Works and Information Technology Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya was also present.

Sardar Angress passes away

Gwalior, Mar 15: Senior BJP leader Sardar Sambhajirao Angre, a close aide of veteran BJP leader late Vijayraje Scindia, died at his residence here early this morning following renal failure.  He was 85. Angre, who was earlier associated with Jana Sangh and later BJP, was Secretary to Ms Scindia for a long time. He is survived by son Tulajirao Angre and daughter Chitralekha. His funeral is scheduled here this evening, family sources said.

Bhopal, Mar 15: The Minister for Minorities, Backward Classes Welfare and Food and Civil Supplies Akhand Pratap Singh said that discharging duty with dedication and sincerity is greatest service to god. He said that everybody should spare some time and efforts for social service.
