Lava emanated from earth in Sendhwa
Bhopal, Apr 15: Molten lava emanated from earth at Industrial
Area in Sendhwa block of Badwani district on Tuesday afternoon.
The ember orange coloured fluid continued to spring out of earth
for more than an hour and then got deposited after cooling down.
The molten fluid reportedly heated up the vicinity creating
panic among the few factory owners.
Cong on war-footing
for assembly polls
Bhopal, Apr 15: Madhya Pradesh Congress in the leadership of PCC
president Suresh Pachauri working on war-footings to make party
battle ready for November 2008 assembly elections. As a first
step, the party has decided to raise orgnaisaitonal structure in
the assembly segments where most of the conventional party
leaders and their family members have joined ruling BJP in past
four and a half years.
Fund for conservation of primitive tribes
Bhopal, Apr 15: Directives have been issued to the concerning
officers in connection with funds allocated for
conservation-cum-development schemes for primitive tribes for
the year 2007-08. According to directives, they have been asked
to approve on priority basis the schemes under this Rs 10 crore
plan. Principles laid down by the Union government have also
been incorporated in it.
Ensure spare parts for hand pumps
Bhopal, Apr 15: The Minister for Public Health Engineering
Choudhary Chandrabhan Singh has instructed the officers
concerned to ensure availability of spare parts required for
repair of hand pumps to proper drinking water supply during the
summer season. He directed that the hand pump technicians should
be assigned works with spare parts and vehicles.
Service is the only mission: Chouhan
Bhopal, Apr 15: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has
said that service of people is the one and only mission of his
life. He said that he is working with commitment to make Madhya
Pradesh one of the leading states of the country and solicited
active public cooperation for this. Chouhan was responding to a
felicitation accorded to him by Mahamai Seva Samiti at Sironj in
Vidisha district on Tuesday.
