Rahul Gandhi’s visit annoys local leaders
Bhopal, Apr 18: The two-day visit of AICC General Secretary
Rahul Gandhi in Bundelkhand has annoyed some of the local
Congress leaders in the region. Besides party structure, three
are two MLAs from the whole region having 47 constituencies.
Gammon India agrees for development
Bhopal, Apr 18: Gammon India would undertake development work of
'Central Business District Project' of South TT Nagar, Bhopal.
An agreement to this effect was signed here on Thursday by the
Commissioner of MP Housing Board RK Swai, Collector Bhopal RK
Mathur and Director of Gammon India, Virag Gupta.
National Tribal University in Amarkantak
Bhopal, Apr 18: Indira Gandhi National Tribal University is
being established at Amarkantak. The state government has
provided 21 acre land for this university. Foundation stone of
the university would be laid by Human Resources Minister Arjun
Singh on Saturday.
Process for contractual teachers begins
Bhopal, Apr 18: As per the decision taken by the present state
government, process has begun to appoint contractual teachers in
teacher cadre. In this connection screening committees are being
constituted at various levels to check eligibility of concerning
contractual teachers for which norms have been laid down.
‘Adopt a Heritage’ by ASI
Bhopal, Apr 18: With an aim to involve the general public in
conservation of historical monuments, Archaeological Survey of
India (ASI) has launched its ‘Adopt a Heritage’ scheme here on
the occasion of World Heritage Day on Friday.
