Arif Aqeel lashes out at Gufran-e-Azam
Bhopal, Mar 25: Madhya Pradesh Congress legislator and Vice
president of State Congress Committee Arif Aqeel on Tuesday
lashed out heavily on Gufran-e-Azam, who resigned from PCC state
executive as a member on Monday. Aqeel while talking to media
persons alleged that Gufran’s resignation has clearly showed his
mentality.
State Level Bankers' Committee meet
Bhopal, Mar 25: The 131st meeting of State Level Bankers'
Committee, Madhya Pradesh was held on Tuesday under the
chairmanship of K Subbaraman, Executive Director, Central Bank
of India at the Zonal Office of Central Bank of India, Bhopal.
The meeting was conducted by PC Tiwari, Zonal Manager, Central
Bank of India and Convener, State Level Bankers' Committee,
Madhya Pradesh and reviewed the progress recorded by banking
sector in the State up to December 2007.
Special revenue campaign launched
Bhopal, Mar 25: Special revenue campaign has got under way for
expeditious redressal of revenue-related cases at a rapid pace
in Madhya Pradesh today. It is the fifth phase of the campaign
launched for state-wide implementation of programmes and
projects of Revenue Department. The campaign would continue till
June 25, 2008.
State Power Company gets gold shield
Bhopal, Mar 25: At the function at
New Delhi recently, Union Energy Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde
has given away Gold Shield, the highest award for excellent
work, to Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company. It is for
the first time in the history of Madhya Pradesh that this award
has been given in power transmission sector. This is the fifth
award won by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company in a
short span of three years.
CAG comments on nine PSUs
Bhopal, Mar 25: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India CAG
recommended either improving the performance or considering
closure of the Madhya Pradesh Government's nine companies having
poor turnover in the last five years.
