Bhopal, Mar 27: Polling for Rajya Sabha election is scheduled in Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha premises on Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Counting will be held on the same day in the evening. There are four candidates in the fray for three seats.

Explosions in Hoshangabad

Hoshangabad, Mar 27: Two successive explosions have occurred in an ordnance factory's propellant unit in this district's Itarsi but no one was injured. The first blast took place last night in a building containing a considerable amount of explosive material and the cause was unclear.

Bhopal, Mar 27: As many as 13 notorious activists of banned radical outfit- Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), allegedly having links with Lashkar-e-Toiba and Al-Qaida modules, were arrested from Shyampur Colony in Indore on Thursday morning. Safdar Nagori, a national general secretary of SIMI, was among those arrested during the raids.
