13 SIMI activists nabbed in Indore
Bhopal, Mar 27: As many as 13 notorious activists of banned
radical outfit- Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI),
allegedly having links with Lashkar-e-Toiba and Al-Qaida
modules, were arrested from Shyampur Colony in Indore on
Thursday morning. Safdar Nagori, a national general secretary of
SIMI, was among those arrested during the raids.
Re-densification plan
finalized in Bhopal
Bhopal, Mar 27: The state cabinet on Thursday finalized the
re-densification plan CBD (Central Business District) of South
TT Nagar of Bhopal. For this the sole offer to the tune of Rs
338 crore for 15 acre land was approved. This offer has been
given by the sole bidder Messrs Gamon India Ltd.
Kishore Samrite takes ‘U’ turn
Bhopal, Mar 27: Madhya Pradesh Samajwadi Party legislator
Kishore Samrite, who exposed Congress in bribery case in the
run-up to Rajya Sabha elections and levelled grave allegations
against senior SP leaders, on Thursday, took a U turn by again
clutching the SP fold and his suspension from the party was also
revoked.
BJP-Congress gold meetings for RS polls
Bhopal, Mar 27: Both ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and
Congress which are fighting for third seat in Rajya Sabha
elections, held meeting of their legislatures here on Thursday
to chalk out a strategy for the election scheduled on Friday.
The meeting of BJP legislators commenced at Chief Minister
Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s residence in the presence of all the
senior party leaders.
Make forest conservation a movement
Bhopal, Mar 27: The Minister for
Forests Vijay Shah has stressed the need for making forest
conservation a popular movement to rope in active community
participation in this important task. He called for greater
efforts to educate the youth on environmental issues. Shah was
inaugurating a two-day workshop on including ecological services
in forestry schemes organized at the Academy of Administration
here today.
