SP MLA Bundela might face action
Bhopal, Mar 29: Samajwadi Party (SP) legislator Vijay Bahadur
Singh Bundela might lose his membership from the assembly, as
the party has decided to write Vidhan Saha Speaker Ishwardas
Rohani in this connection accusing Bundela for overlooking party
whip.
Four dacoits of UP
gunned down
Gwalior, Mar 29: Four members of a dacoit gang hailing from
Uttar Pradesh were killed in an encounter with the Madhya
Pradesh police in the ravines of Bhind district early on
Saturday morning. Police sources said the encounter took place
in the forested ravine on the bank of the Chambal River under
Ater police station area.
International level zoo in Bhopal
Bhopal, Mar 29: Efforts have been
stepped up to set up a modern zoo of international level on the
lines of Singapore under phase two of Van Vihar National Park at
Bhopal. Renowned wildlife expert and former director of
Singapore Wildlife Park Barnard Harrison made a presentation
about this proposed ambitious project proposed to be developed
over 350 hectare near Kairwa eco-tourism centre here.
MoU in real estate reviewed
Bhopal, mar 29: Implementation of
the Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) signed for different
projects in the field of real estate have already begun in the
state. These involve capital investment of Rs 10,500 crore. The
Minister for Industries and Commerce Jayant Malaiya informed
this at a meeting held here to review progress of the
implementation of the MoUs executed in different fields here on
Saturday.
Special Revenue Campaign extended
Bhopal, Mar 29: State government
has decided to extend Special Revenue Campaign till June 30,
2008. Earlier, the last date for this campaign was June 25,
undertaken for implementing programmes and schemes under Revenue
Department. Meanwhile, the state government has issued
instructions to all the district collectors and divisional
commissioners to ensure action on 11 points.
